My team and I spend our professional lives helping others overcome GAPS.
But, don’t think for a moment our expertise stems only from our clients. Nope! We learn from ourselves just as much, if not more, than from others.
Types of GAPS are a central focus.
One of them we work with is “DISPARITY”, a distance between 2 points. Sometimes, tiny narrow, nearly imperceptible GAPS can be more dangerous than obviously big wide ones.
Have you ever seen someone wearing high heels, stepping off an elevator and getting their heel caught in that little slit of a GAP between the floor and the shaft, just as the door is closing? How does something nearly invisible literally “squeeze” you into desperation?
The above example is negative and scary, based on physical characteristics. Let’s flip that into something good! I want to focus on the concept of Disparity – a distance between 2 points in a positive sense, related to Mindset.
Last post was a simple, happy reflection about the Lunch & Learn we had done a few days earlier. Yes, we suggested you offer them in your organizations before 2025 kicks in to get a boost for the year to come.
WORD of Mouth…
GAPS can be positive underestimations of suggestions!
The content is the same! The learning experience and format are the same.
But Lunch & Learn got an amazing unexpected upgrade to a “HAPPY HOUR – PRIVATE AT HOME LEARNING EXPERIENCE”
What did we learn?
A GAP in expectations!
What happens when your organization does not meet your expectations by investing in you but you want to learn what we have to share?
You take control into your own hands.
This was a FIRST! Hopefully not the last.
